Mob is on a mission to create a world of home cooks, because cooking changes lives.

It is the best way to eat throughout the week. It improves your health. It lifts your mood. It saves you money.

We will achieve this by building the ultimate app for home cooking. Making weekly cooking fun, easy and delicious. It will take the friction away from home cooking, so anyone can become an accomplished home cook.

It took us 24 months to reach 100k subscribers - and just seven months to double that to 200k. Our next goal: scale to over 1 million users by the end of 2027.

What You'll Be Doing

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build and ship features that bring joy to everyone one of our customers. You will work with React and Next.js on the frontend and our Node and Supabase on the backend to deliver features spanning our internal recipe and food management tools to the services powering the Mob app.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and the wider Engineering team to turn ideas into polished, performant experiences. You'll contribute to technical decisions, improve our codebase, and help us scale our platform as we grow toward a million subscribers.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong experience with React and ideally Next.js

• Proficiency in Node on the backend

• Experience working with relational databases (ideally Postgres) and building clean APIs

• A keen eye for UI quality and user experience

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills

• Experience or strong interest in working at a startup

• Location: We're based at our East London office 3 days a week

• Sponsorship: We are able to offer Tier 2 sponsorship for this role.
