Mob is on a mission to make weekly cooking effortless.
We’re transforming Mob from a recipe brand into an intelligent meal-planning platform that quietly runs in the background of everyday life. Every household faces the same exhausting question: “What do we eat?” It’s the most frequent - and most frustrating - decision in the food economy, and no digital platform truly owns it.
By combining intelligent planning with personal guidance, Mob removes the mental load of cooking and turns it into an easy, rewarding rhythm. Each plan, shop, and cook makes the next week smarter, simpler, and more personal.
It took us 24 months to reach 100k subscribers - and just seven months to double that to 200k. Our next goal: scale to over 1 million users by the end of 2027.

What You'll Be Doing
This is an exciting and critical role that sits at the heart of how we grow. You’ll influence activation, retention and product love through thoughtful, well-timed communication.
You'll be Mob’s first fully embedded CRM Manager, owning lifecycle marketing across email, push, in-app, and emerging channels such as SMS and WhatsApp.
- You'll design the strategy, run high-velocity experiments, and build automated, data-led journeys that improve activation, conversion, and retention.
- You'll sit alongside Product, Growth, Design, Data, and Engineering to make sure lifecycle messaging is tightly aligned with our user journeys and rapid product iterations.
- You'll use Customer.io to create scalable flows with behavioural triggers, and you will partner closely with Growth so that acquisition and lifecycle efforts reinforce each other.
This role suits someone who is hands-on, analytical, and creative, with a strong bias for structured experimentation and measurable outcomes. You'll bring cultural alignment and pace, replacing agency dependency with in-house ownership that matches Mob’s speed.
What You’ll Bring
You know how to build a lifecycle engine that drives growth, and you have proven experience improving activation, conversion, and retention through structured CRM experimentation.
What We're Looking For
5+ years in CRM, lifecycle, or retention within consumer apps or subscription products.
Hands-on expertise with Customer.io, or similar tools such as Braze or Iterable.
Strong analytical capability, comfortable defining lifecycle metrics and exploring user behaviour in tools such as Mixpanel.
Experience designing and running A/B tests, with clear hypothesis setting, measurement, and iteration.
Multi-channel experience: email, push, in-app, and ideally SMS or WhatsApp.
Ability to write and optimise effective lifecycle copy in Mob’s tone of voice, collaborating with design on creative.
Collaborative mindset, you enjoy working with Product, Growth, Data, and Engineering to solve user problems.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where speed of learning is a competitive advantage.

CRM platform: Customer.io
Channels: Email, push, in-app, with scope to expand into SMS and WhatsApp.
Analytics: Mixpanel, plus product and subscription signals integrated from the wider stack.
Collaboration: close partnership with Product, Growth, Design, Data, and Engineering.
